Feasibility Studies

Before the upper management releases money for capital investments Feasibility Studies need to be made. These studies might be purely economic and analyze the market situation, the product price development and the expected future revenue based on scenarios of production increase. Once this is established more technical feasibility studies take place. The technical feasibility studies reveal the actual limitation of the existing equipment either by design or by actual operating conditions. With this baseline the studies then make suggestions how to improve the system starting with small investments having small effects up to a complete upgrade of most components.

FraMisUS, LLC is offering technical Feasibility Studies to evaluate existing equipment and its possibilities for optimization as well as Feasibility Studies to compare the different available state-of-the-art grinding systems. This will result in a detailed decision making table listing the pros and cons for each available new system with regards to the specific customer needs.

As defined by the customer the decision making table may include but is not limited to:

• Potential production rate of grinding system at required product quality
• Expected power consumption of complete system
• Power consumption of single machines
• Mechanic design of machinery
• Quality of wear protection of equipment
• Investments costs until start of production
• Life-Cycle maintenance costs for entire system for 10 to 20 year lifecycles related to product amount or time period
• Level of technology in maintenance needed
• Other customer specific aspects
